I am an historian with expertise in the history of modern warfare, modern Britain, and early twentieth century Europe with ten years of teaching experience across history and the social sciences.

Over the years, I have shared my research with the public on numerous podcasts, the BBC's Who Do You Think You Are, and through BBC Bitesize. Beyond academia, I have developed numerous programmes focussed on critical thinking and consulted a variety of organisations on their education and teacher training programmes. 

I am available to consultant on historical projects as well as on curriculum development and teaching practice.
